Day 1 | Transfer from Zurich Airport or meet at the designated hotel in Appenzell |
Day 2 | Fabulous ridge walk high above the Rhine Valley to Bollenwees |
Day 3 | Circular hike past the famous "Kreuzberge", popular with climbers |
Day 4 | Hike to "Meglisalp" and on to the pretty mountain lake of "Seealp" |
Day 5 | The Schaefler Mountain offers some of the finest views in the Alpstein |
Day 6 | The "Wildkirchli" cave, both a historical and a religious site |
Day 7 | Transfer to the Bernese Oberland, stay in a hut of the Swiss Alpine Club S.A.C. |
Day 8 | Visit a mountain cheese farm and sample the local product |
Day 9 | Over the Langermatten Plateau to Adelboden. Transfer to Spiez at the Lake of Thun |
Day 10 | Hike from "Schynige Platte" to "First" with breathtaking views of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau |
Day 11 | End this trekking with a visit to the impressive "Rosenlaui Schlucht" |
Day 12 | Transfer to Zurich, afternoon independent |
Day 13 | Transfer to Zurich Airport |
